A New Haircut and Color for a New Year

Happy New Year 2010!!!!

Since we moved here to Kansas we've thrown an adult only New Year's Eve party. Everyone brings something delicious to snack on, the Wii is ready to go in the basement, there is always lot's of talking and laughter and occasionally we play games. This was no exception. Some of the men headed down to the basement to play some competition Mario Kart while the rest of us hovered over the yummy snacks and visited. Then when we were all tired of eating and video gaming we all sat down and played a very funny game of "2 Truths and a Lie". Before we knew it it was 11:30 and it was time to get ready for our toast and midnight kiss. My kids (who had been upstairs all evening watching movies and eating treats) came down to get ready to bang pots and pans. We saw the ball drop, we toasted, we kissed, we banged pots and pans and we welcomed in the New Year! I look forward to an incredible 2010. It's nice to look forward with a world full of optimistic possibilities!
