Craftastic Afternoon Spent With Friends

Two of my favorite friends--Jenny and Olivia and I decided it would be fun to get together every now and then to make something craftastic. Years ago I made these cute fabric pumpkins and they wanted to learn how to make some for their own home. So we cut, we sewed, we stuffed, we tied and yes we even hot glued and Voila---Adorable stuffed pumpkins!!!!!

I can't wait to see what we make next!

Good For You Muffins--that are not so good for you!

I made these with my kids last night. It was a super easy recipe so each of the kids could participate and they loved them. Try them---I think you'll love them too!!!
Good For You Muffins

3-4 ripe bananas
3/4 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 3/4 c. oatmeal
chocolate chips

Beat bananas, oil, sugar, and egg until mixture is mostly smooth . Add flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Slowly add oatmeal and finish it off with chocolate chips (however many you like). Put in sprayed muffin tins or add liners. It makes 24 muffins. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Enjoy!!!!

Amelia's 1st Day of Pre-School

Amelia was sooooooo excited to start pre-school this year. It was painful waiting since Cardon and Brinly started school nearly a month earlier. Days before it was all she could talk about.
Amelia had Miss Jan last year so having her again only made her that much more excited.
Almost all of the same kids from last year are in her class again this year. It's such a fun group of kids.
After class we went and got doughnuts to celebrate.

Happy 1st day of school Miss Millie!!!!

Cranium Cariboo can be a dangerous hobby

I came downstairs this morning to find naked boy Jace playing Cranium Cariboo by himself while wearing Amelia's helmet. I thought to myself "Smart boy--It's always good to take appropriate safety precautions while playing board games." He found the magic ball with no head casualties! So lucky. It could have gone either way!
